You know Slashdot’s going down the crapper when you can get yourself linked for removing a couple of screws. In the spirit of “Upgrading Hard Drive in Sony HDR-SR1 HDD Camcorder”, I too removed a few screws to look at the internal harddrive of my JVC Everio (GZ-MG77U). It’s the same internal drive as the Sony, which happens to also be the same drives in the ipods. Ripe for replacement.
The last photo is for size comparison, the hard drive is from a laptop, not the camera.
