azure skies are open, silver dreams let me in

I’ve written about half of what I mean to write, but I can no longer keep my head up or my eyes open. So I’ve hidden that part of the entry and will finish it in the morning when my brain is working. Today we went fishing. & While we hooked in to some leviathans, we were unable to bring them to the surface and they broke our line on more than a few occasions. We still managed to land a few fish each, fill our freezer with red snapper and trigger fish, and have some amazing fish tacos made by myself. I didn’t fall in the water, but had a few close calls thanks to my bum leg.

More in the morning, but for now, here are some photos.

& Did I mention that I finally found a Pram lyrics site?

I can’t physically stand for this…

Sciatica sucks, and not just because its extremely painful.. It’s probably been about two weeks since my back and legs started hurting to the point where standing and walking were difficult. I was taking the maximum daily dosage of Advil (6 pills about 700mg) 4 times a day, but now Im only occasionally taking a percocet.. I should be going to see a doctor/chiropractor in a few days. Why is it so many people, mainly doctors, have such a hatred for chiropractors? I’ve personally never been to one..

The pain, being left far behind whenever Im walking with someone, and the fact that I walk like a zombie (seriously) doesn’t bother me so much. What really has me worried is the fact that I’ve lost some motor control of my toes, and I can’t seem to flex my tibialis anterior, on my right leg. Two words I hope to never hear.. Back surgery.

Come Saturday night, or Sunday morning, you can expect a long update on our first real fishing adventure here on the Baja. We’ll see if I can stand up in the boat or if I end up in the drink…

Re: Monday Movie Screenings

I agree, however this movie was much more light-hearted and had a good mix of humor. I don't think there was room for humor in War Dance.

My favourite was WarDance. I couldn't agree more with you-- movies that have to be paid for aren't typically very good.
